With just three contemporary suites, guests can journey into the wilderness on land, water and in the air to experience the wild beauty of Botswana first-hand.

North island Okavango is located in a verdant and beautiful, semi-private game-rich concession on the northern fringes of the Okavango Delta. Unlike other camps, water-based activities are offered here almost all year round. To experience the Delta from every perspective, guests at North Island Okavango can enjoy daily game drives and game walks, mokoro and boat meanders, hot air ballooning and scenic helicopter flights with expert guides. Don’t miss the chance to view ancient rock art at Tsodilo Hills, just 100km away.

Accommodating just six adults and six children, North Island Okavango has a contemporary African influence with a spacious dining and lounge area, an interesting library and an outdoor gym for workouts in the wild. For slower afternoons, in-room spa treatments are available.

Raised on decks under magnificent jackalberry trees, three spacious tented suites offer a touch of luxury in the wild, with stunning views of the lagoon and the steady stream of passing wildlife. Each tent offers stunning views of the lagoon in front of it and a private plunge pool with a sunken sundeck for cooling off and for you to enjoy while watching the wildlife that comes into view. For the hotter summer nights, each bed comes with its very own ‘over-the-bed’ cooling system. And in winter, there is a cosy fireplace to relax in front of, making each tent a romantic safari experience.
